Marvin "Taz" G. Freeman, 71, died on July 14, 2017 at the Kansas Heart Hospital in Wichita, Kansas. He was born on December 1, 1945 in Hutchinson, Kansas to Robert Nelson and Dorothy Pauline (Massow) Freeman.

Marvin had been married to Sandra (Storm) for fourteen years.

He was a member of the Woodridge Christian Church of Wichita. Marvin also dedicated 15 years to the United States National Guard. After retiring from Bill Kobach GMC dealership, Marvin volunteered his time with the Kansas Humane Society of Wichita.

Preceding him in death were his parents and a brother, Robert Freeman.

Survivors include his wife Sandra, Wichita; two daughters, Sharise Lopez, Hutchinson and Mary Townes, San Antonio, TX; two sisters, Marilyn (Don) Matthews, Hutchinson and Phyliss (John) Patterson, Topeka,KS; seven grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; one niece; four nephews and his dog Lucy.

Inurnment will be held on Wednesday, July 19th, 2017 at 10:00 A.M. at the Arlington Cemetery, Arlington, Kansas.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, July 22, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at the Woodridge Christian Church, 12111 E. 13th, Wichita, Kansas. Pastor Bob Gleason will be leading services.

Memorials may be made to the Kansas Humane Society or Woodridge Christian Church in care of Hutchinson Funeral Chapel, 300 E. 30th Avenue, Hutchinson, KS 67502.
