Wilbert, 83, passed away at 6:06 a.m., at his residence.

He was born to Alphons and Agnes (Buehler) Bauer. On Feb 27, 1943, he married Virginia Marx, who survived him.

Also surviving were a son, Dr. Thomas E., Ottawa; two daughters, Janet (David) Hassenauer, Wapakoneta and Judith (Bruce) Stamper, Ridgewood, NJ; a brother, Frederick, Botkins; two sisters, Sr. Ruth Marie Bauer, Mount St. Joseph, Cincinnati, and Esther Borchers, Ft. Loramie; and six grandchildren.

Deceased are a brother, Robert; and a sister, Ruth Bauer.

He retired after 34 years at Provico and he was a member of its Press club. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be at the church, with the Rev. James J. O'Connor, officiating.
