In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Brooks and Austin Slack; and five sisters, Hazel Moore, Ada Wilson, Hallie Hencking [Hallie Mae Henking was a step-sister, the daughter of John and his first wife, Phebe Belle Summers], Alma Flesher, and Erpha Amos. [Also sister Wanda Meeks]
Services noon Saturday at the Matheny Whited Funeral Home, Elizabeth with Rev. Delmas Stutler officiating. Interment Palestine Cemetery Thorn Addition.
