Gudrun Kaalstad Ecker, our loving mother, sister, Bestemor (Grandmother), passed away Sunday, April 8, 1984 in Salt Lake City.
Born July 7, 1898 to Nillus and Hedda Kaalstad in Oslo, Norway. Married to Peter S. Ecker, April 21, 1920 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Preceded in death by her husband, February 6, 1967.
Active member of the LDS Church. Served as President of the Relief Society in the Cannon Ward for several years, and served in many other positions in the Church.
Survived by: daughter, Mrs. Warren (Norma) Larrabee, sons, Ray and Harold, all Salt Lake City; 12 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; three sisters, Mrs. Juel (Olga) Christensen, Signe Kaalstad, and Mrs. Henry (Karin) Noorda, all Salt Lake City.
Funeral services Thursday, April 12, 12 noon, at Larkin Mortuary, 260 East So. Temple. Interment, Salt Lake Cemetery.
