Doris Ann Kauffman
Aug. 10, 1931 - June 2, 2017

Doris Ann Kauffman, 85, Martinsburg, died on Friday.
She was the daughter of the late Frank P. and Fleda (Brumbaugh) Corle.
Surviving are her husband, Albert R. Kauffman; three daughters: Linda Burnham, Lori Snider and Leilani Taylor; five siblings: Robert, Gary and Wayne Corle, Phyllis Hooper and Carolyn Gates; and 21 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Philip R.
Friends will be received from 10 to the 11 a.m. funeral service Tuesday, June 6, 2017, at Martinsburg Brethren in Christ Church, Martinsburg, with Pastor Earl Herr officiating.
Arrangements are by S. Gerald Weaver Funeral Home, Woodbury.

Doris Ann Kauffman, 85, of Martinsburg, went home to be with the Lord on June 2, 2017.
She grew up in Woodbury, born August 10, 1931, the daughter of the late Frank P. and Fleda (Brumbaugh) Corle.
She was united in marriage with Albert R. Kauffman on December 25, 1949.
Doris was a revered school bus driver for the Spring Cove School District for 14 years and also operated the Spring Garden Farm Bed and Breakfast with her husband.
Surviving is her husband Albert; daughters Linda Burnham of Henrietta, Lori Snider of Imler, and Leilani Taylor of Lancaster; brothers Robert, Gary, and Wayne Corle; sisters Phyllis Hooper and Carolyn Gates; as well as 21 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and many adopted foster children.
Doris was preceded in death by son Philip R. Kauffman who was killed in an accident on July 5, 1970; one day before his 17th birthday.
At request of the deceased there will be no public viewing. Guests will be welcomed for visitation at the Martinsburg Brethren in Christ Church Tuesday, June 6th from 10:00AM-11:00AM. At 11:00AM a service will commence with Pastor Earl Herr officiating.
Interment will be at Fairview Cemetery in Martinsburg. Memorial Contributions in Doris’s name can be given to either the Martinsburg Brethren in Christ Church or Home Nursing Agency Foundation (201 Chestnut Ave. Altoona, PA 16601).
