Mrs. Edna Kesler, 73 years old, a resident of Joplin since 1929, died early this morning in a rest home at 414 Kentucky avenue, where she had been a patient several months.
Mrs. Kesler was born April 29, 1878. Surviving are three brothers, J. E. Carr, Sarcoxie, J. A. Carr, of near Diamond, and Hugh Carr of near Joplin.
The body was received by the Ulmer funeral home, Carthage.

Mrs. Edna Kesler, 73 years old, a resident of Joplin since 1929, died early yesterday morning in a rest home at 414 Kentucky avenue, where she had been a patient several months.
Mrs. Kesler was born April 29, 1878. Surviving are three brothers, J. E. Carr, Sarcoxie, J. A. Carr, of near Diamond, and Hugh Carr of near Joplin.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 o'clock Sunday afternoon in Black Fox church, southeast of Carthage, with the Rev. Mr. Carr of Sarcoxie officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery under direction of the Ulmer funeral home at Carthage.
Friends may call at the funeral home where the body will lie in state until 11:30 oclock Sunday morning.
