Phillip Arthur Lang

Sylvia - Phillip Arthur Lang, a former resident here, died Monday morning in St. Anthony's Hospital in Dodge City after a long illness.

Mr. Lang was born Oct. 28, 1881, near Sylvia. Surviving are two sons, Everett E., Fowler, and George Arnold, with the U.S. Navy four brothers, Fred E. Plevna; A. W., Hutchinson; Ed F., Pasadena, Calif., and Will, Seattle, and two sisters, Mrs. Amelia Blaine, Hutchinson and Mrs. Herman Moechel, Sylvia.

Funeral services wil be in the Peacock and Soice Chapel at Stafford at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday with rev. Andrew Cresswell officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery north of Sylvia.
