Those left to mourn her loss are sisters and brothers Wanda Buckhannon and (Alva) of Burnsville, WV Fonda Conley (Russell) of Sutton, WV, Linda Helmick of Sutton, WV, Nancy Ratliff (Samuel) of VA, Harry Allen of Orlando, WV, Jerry Allen (Susan) of Burnsville, WV, Edna Shaffer (Alfred) of Morgantown, WV, Lois Diane Heater of Flatwoods, WV, Janet Gibson (Robert) of Heaters, and Brenda Tinney (Curtis) of Gem, WV.
Patty also leaves behind the love of her life two grandchildren whom she raised upon death of her children Aaron Mathias Rudder (Kristen) of VA, and Holly Loraine (Allen) Aguilar (Oscar) of Sutton, WV as well as Billy Joe Allen of Woodbridge, VA. Also surviving great-grandchildren Emma and Brayden Rudder of VA.
Patty attended schools in Braxton County and received her degree in Nursing from Prince Georges Community College in MD, and also received many credits towards a social worker degree. Helping others was always her true passion. She retired in 1994 after 27 years in the medical field as a nurse case coordinator in Alexandria, VA. She loved bluegrass music and was known for her fruit salad, peanut butter cookies, and peanut butter fudge. Most of all she loved her family.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday, May 25, 2017 from the Stockert-Paletti Funeral Chapel with Pastor Delmas Singleton officiating. Interment will follow in the Little Kanawha Memorial Gardens.
