Betty Jo Gross, 50, of Sutton died Wednesday, Jan. 22, 1997, in Braxton County Memorial Hospital after a long illness.
She was a homemaker, a former employee of Kroger and a member of Birch River Baptist Church.
Surviving: husband, Johnie L Gross; daughters, Joyce Ann Floyd and Anita Jo Gross, of Sutton; sisters, Wanda Buckhannon of Lake Milton, OH, Fonda Conley of Sutton, Patty Allen of Flatwoods, Linda Helmick of Weston, Nancy Ratliff of Virginia, Edna Shaffer of Bruceton Mills, Diane Heater of Kentucky, Janet Allen of Corley, Brenda Allen of Gem; brothers, Harry Allen Jr. of Copen, Jerry Allen of Burnsville; two grandchildren.
Service will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Greene-Robertson Funeral Home, Sutton, with the Rev. Phillip Drane officiating. Burial will be in Little Kanawha Memorial Gardens.
