After less than a weeks' illness, from heart trouble, Mrs. Richard W Box passed away Saturday night. Jennette Bennett was born in this village August 6, 1840. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David Bennett, one of the old families of the village. She married Richard W Box December 25, 1862 and never made her home anywhere but in Pulaski. She was the sort of homemaker and home keeper that gets and holds friends. Her and Richard celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary a year ago next month. Mrs Box is survived by her husband, three sons, Fred F Box of Syracuse, Albert K Box of Pulaski and William R Box of Watertown; one granddaughter Mrs. Frederick McKown of Englewood, New Jersey, daughter of the son William Box. Two sisters Mrs. Emily Lyman of Oswego and Mrs. Susan Cook of Iowa. Four brothers, Edward D Bennett of Pulaski, Truman Bennett of Idaho, Warren Bennett and Jesse Bennett of Nebraska. Funeral services were held at the home. The Rev Charles T Holcombe, pastor of the Methodist Episcopal Church officiating.
