She married David John Cochran on December 23, 1903 in Jessamine County, Kentucky. The couple moved to Hamilton County, Ohio and, then, settled in Louisville, Kentucky. They were the parents of Charles Louis, Mary M., Clayton Newall, John David and Betty Jean Cochran. Throughout the years, Mr. Cochran earned his living by working as a carpenter and as a contractor.

In her 81st year, Sun., July 21, 1968. Residence, formerly 3630 Taylor Blvd. Beloved mother of Mrs. Betty Caskie, Opa-Locka, Fla., C.N. Cochran and John David Cochran. Also survived by 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Cochran is resting at the Nunnelly Funeral Home, 4327 Taylor Blvd. Services from the Funeral Home, Tues., 2 p.m. Interment Louisville Memorial Gardens. The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to the Heart Fund.
