Mrs. Mary Washington, 78, of 8609 East Seventy-seventh, died Wednesday at St. Joseph Hospital. She was born in Carron Shore, Scotland, and went to Burlingame, Kas., with her parents when she was a child. She had lived here since 1928. Mrs. Washington was a saleswoman for Adler's until 1949. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Arthur L. Coil of the home, and Mrs. Percy Cole, Pittsburg, Kas., and a son, Thomas P. Washington, Langley, Okla. Services will be held at 2 o'clock Tuesday at the Stine & McClure Chapel. Burial will be in Johnson County Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
