Clinton E. Hill, 85, of Jacksonville passed away Monday evening, April 10, 2017 in Jerseyville. He was born May 10, 1931 in Waynesville, MO the son of James and Parlee Dodd Hill. He married Patsy Patrick on June 11, 1955 in Bowling Green, MO and she survives.
He is also survived by 5 sons, Jeffery (wife, Karol) Hill of Meredosia, Dale (wife, Maria) Hill of Arcadia, Dennis(wife, Sarah) Hill of Muscatine, IA, David Carl Hill of Winfield, MO and Charles (wife, Elena) Hill of Pahoa, HI; 9 grandchildren, Karoline (husband, Chad) Myers, Kelsey (husband, Prabhu) Koppatu, Lincoln (wife, Rachel) Hill, Andrew (wife, Jessica) Hill, Kristen (husband, Alex) Wolff and Stephen, Amanda, Angie and Anthony Hill; 6 great-grandchildren; one sister, Cleta Moyer of Barry and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; 6 brothers and 3 sisters.
Clinton served in the United States Marine Corp during the Korean Conflict. He owned and operated Hill Machine for over 20 years.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 15, 2017 at Williamson Funeral Home with burial at Diamond Grove Cemetery.
The family will meet friends from 5:00-7:00 on Friday at the funeral home.
