Mrs. Victoria Skorupa, 78, Duncan, died Sunday morning in St. Mary's hospital. She was a lifetime resident of this vicinity. Funeral services will be conducted by the Rev. Richard Ciurej at 9 a.m. Wednesday in St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, Duncan. Burial will be in St. Bonaventure cemetery, Columbus. The body will lie in state after 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Gass Funeral Home where rosary will be prayed at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday by St. Anne's sodality.

Daughter of the late Matthew and Anna Wilk Brigg, she was born here Nov. 22, 1887 and attended St. Francis academy in Columbus. Her marriage to Charles Skorupa took place Feb. 14, 1904, at St Stanislaus church. He preceded her in death in 1929.

Surviving are two sons, Henry of Columbus and Edward of Scottsbluff; two daughters, Mrs. Louis (Helen) Mimick of Columbus and Miss Clara Skorupa of Duncan; one sister, Mrs. Mary Boettcher of Columbus; 10 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by six brothers, John, Paul, Tony, Frank, Charles and Joe Brigg; three sisters, Mrs. Mary Czapla, Mrs. Anna Nosal and Sister Eleutheria; also one grandson, Charles Skorupa.
