Alice was the eldest of six children born in Sidney, Montana to John and Anna Hinkle August 5, 1924. She spent the early years of her life in the Billings area. She and Albert married in 1946 in Billings where they resided for a number of years. Their family included two daughters.
In 1958 they moved to Idaho Falls, Idaho where Albert was employed at the National Reactor Testing Station near Arco for more than 27 years. Following his retirement Albert and Alice moved to Helena, Montana to be closer to Patricia and her family.
Alice's life revolved around her husband, daughters and their families. When Alice was not busy with her flower garden and yard; she and Albert traveled to be part of life celebrations as the family expanded to include grandchildren and great grandchildren. While in Helena she was an active member of Our Redeemer's Lutheran Church. Following Albert's death in July 2012 health issues necessitated a move to Everett, Washington. Until January 2017 Alice lived in a retirement community in Everett. She continued to travel periodically to see her daughter and family in Alabama as well as her sole surviving sister in Arizona.
Alice is survived by two daughters, four grandchildren, 6 great granddaughters, as well as one sister and numerous nieces and nephews.
