Helen Zagorsky Hendry (widow of David) was the eldest daughter of Andrew and Josephine (Szczepankiewicz) Zagorsky.

In the 1930's Helen worked in the Smoothing Department of the Central Glass Works in Wheeling, West Virginia with her sister, Virginia Zagorsky (later Limes).

Helen retired from Rolen Plastics of Elyria, Ohio where she worked as a polisher.

She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church of Lorain, Ohio, and a life member of the Polish American Citizens Club of Lorain.

At the time of her death, she was survived by her son, David and four sisters and one brother. She also had five brothers who were deceased.
