Son, Channing, born 1855; and

Daughter, Georgianna, born 1857, married first, A. C. Bean, and secondly, George Preston.

From the Wednesday, March 6, 1889, edition of the Argus and Patriot, Montpelier, Vermont:

"Died in South Royalton, February 24, of pneumonia, Huldah J. Stone, wife of Rev. George Severance, aged 73 years, Mr. and Mrs. Severance were married in 1850 by Rev. Hosea Ballou of Boston, Massachusetts, Mr. Severance at that time being in charge of a parish in Duxbury, Massachusetts, but soon after came to Vermont. He spent his years of active ministry at Cabot, Glover, Jericho, Essex, and Turnbridge. Three children were born to them, Mazzini, a conductor on the Brattleboro and Whitehall Railroad, Channing at Los Angeles, California and Georgina, wife of A. C. Bean, the well known Roadmaster of the Central Vermont Railroad, residing at White River Junction.
Mrs. Severance was a great reader, accomplished in conversation, and in her younger days, held rank in literature. Funeral services were at the house of Rev. B. M. Tillotson, who was present at their marriage 30 years ago. The casket is temporarily in the tomb at Sharon."
