Funeral services for Robert J. Patterson, age 60, of Enid, Oklahoma will be held Saturday, February 19, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. at Emmanuel Baptist Church, Enid, Oklahoma. Rev. Bobby Hall will officiate. Burial will follow at the Bethany Cemetery, Enid, Oklahoma. Arrangements made by Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home, Enid, Oklahoma.
He was born April 21, 1944 to Jesse and Lulu Wolf Patterson in Mooreland, Oklahoma and died at his home February 16, 2005. he graduated from Cheyenne Valley High School. he married Karen Sue Shoemaker, September 22, 1962. Bob was an oilfield supervisor and an owner of Rite Way Construction. He loved traveling, bird watching and playing with his grandchildren and great grandchildren, and found great comfort in the Lord.
He is survived by his wife, Sue; three daughter, Robbi and her husband Jeffrey Baker of Skiatook, Oklahoma, Tammy and her husband Rusty Atkinson of Enid, Oklahoma and Misty and Husband T. J. Silver of Enid, Oklahoma; one son Russell and wife, Fenise of Enid, Oklahoma; His brother-in-law wh was like a brother, John Edwards; six sisters, Edra Shuck, Frances May, Bessie Lou McDowell, Fay Bouse, Leola Edwards and Janice Peters; eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, infant brother, and one sister, Roberta Walker.

Robert Jesse Patterson was born on Friday, April 21, 1944 at the home of Hugh C. and Bessie F. Russell Patterson (his grandparents) in Mooreland, Woodward County, Oklahoma. Robert Jesse Patterson is the eighth child of Jesse Robert and Lulu Mary Wolf Patterson. There was a terrible rain and hail storm the night Robert was born. The storm washed out all the bridges so it was difficult for the family to get to Mooreland the next day to see him. Webb, Justice of the Peace Dist. 2 Enid, Garfield County, Oklahoma in the presence of Lulu Patterson of Fairview, Oklahoma and Mildred Shoemaker of Cleo Springs, Oklahoma. Their marriage record can be found in book J page 202 at the Garfield County, Court House Enid, Oklahoma. Robert Jesse and Karen Sue have four children: Robbi Sue, Tammy Sue, Misty Joy, and Russell Robert.
