VALENTINE ALLISON BRILL
DIES; RITES ANNOUNCED

Valentine Allison Brill, 78, died at her residence late Friday night.
Mrs. Brill was born June 11, 1891, near Columbia Falls, to Malvina and Gaspard Martin. She was the third of nine children.
She attended schools at Half Moon and Columbia Falls. In 1914 she homesteaded, with her family in Eastern Montana near Sidney. She married Dr. W. C. (sic) Allison that same year.
Dr. Allison was a Canadian subject and was called into the Canadian Army where he served his internship in Toronto General Hospital. During his stay overseas, she came back to Montana and lived with her parents near Coram.
When Dr. Allison returned he opened an office in Columbia Falls. The Allisons moved to California in 1923 where they resided for three years before returning to Montana and opened an office in Whitefish, later moving to Kalispell where he practiced until his death in January 1932. Mrs. Allison moved to Coram, near Martin City now, where she made her home for many years.
June 2, 1959, she married Matt Brill of Hot Springs. They lived there for seven years before moving back to Kalispell.
Mrs. Brill is survived by her widower at 404 Third Ave. E.; two sons, Dr. Bruce Allison and Dr. William Allison, both of Kalispell; a daughter, Mrs. Owen (Evelyn) Grinde of Butte; 12 grandchildren; two sisters, Kalome Doty of Missoula and V. Antoinette Jordon of Spokane; two brothers, A. A. Martin of Martin City and G. C. Martin of Ashland, Ore., and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Evard, Dr. Leo P. and Adolph Martin and one sister, Rose M. Brock.
Requiem high mass will be celebrated Monday at 11 a.m. in the St. Matthew's Catholic Church with the Rev. J. B. Plummer as celebrant. Rosary will be recited Sunday at 8 p.m. in the Waggener & Campbell Chapel. Interment will be made in the Conrad Memorial Cemetery in the family plot.
