Malvina M. Martin was born January 11, 1869, daughter of Francis and Rosalie (Tetreault) Emery at Chatam, Ontario. She was married to Gaspard Martin October 11, 1886.
After their marriage, they moved to the United States and homesteaded in the Valentine District near Columbia Falls. In 1906 they moved to the Coram area where Mrs. Martin had lived since.
She died at her home Sunday. She was preceded in death by her husband and her two sons, Mr. Leo Martin and Everard Martin.
Surviving are seven children, Adolph of Big Arm, Mrs. Rose Brock, and Mrs. W.C. (Valentine) Allison, both of Martin City, Gustave Martin of Klamath Falls, Oregon, Buck Martin of Ketchikan, Alaska, Mrs. Virgil G. (Colome) Doty of Missoula, and Mrs. Thomas G. (Violetta) Jordon of Clarkston, Washington; a granddaughter, Shirley Martin Kennedy of Tacoma, Washington, who she reared from infancy; 19 other grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
