A native of Cleveland County, she was the widow of Worth F. "Bus" Bland and the daughter of the late D.C. and Georgia Tessnear Bridges. Frances was a member of Main Street Baptist Church and a retired textile employee.
Left to cherish her memory is her son, Mickey Bland and wife Patti of Spindale, one grandson, sisters Reba Shirlen of Charlotte, Dorothy Jolley of Cliffside, Grace Blanton of Ellenboro and Jewell Padgett of Ellenboro and a brother Bobby Bridges of Shelby.
Funeral services were held at Main Street Baptist Church. Rev. Dale Duboise, Rev. John Perry and Rev. Bob Philbeck officiated. Interment was private at Eternal Hills Memorial Park.
