Charlotte Deibel was born to Johann Adam Deibel and Dorothea Wherle in Auburn Township, Tuscarawas County Ohio.

Charlotte appears on the 1860 US Census with her family. She would marry Michael Koenig(KING) February 10, 1867. They moved to Indiana, and Charles William King was born there. Michael dies there and Charlotte returns to Tuscarawas County where she gives birth to Phoebe King August 1869.

In 1872, Charlotte married Sam Brown, the Civil War Veteran. She was his second wife. His first wife was Christina Katherine Heister. Their children are Caroline, twins Sam and Anna, and then Dorothea Braun.

Charlotta died in 1877, a few months after baby Dorothea died.

Charlotta was a member of the German Evangelical Lutheran and German Reformed Congregation on the Upper Stone Creek, Jefferson Township, Tuscarawas County, Ohio. Her death is recorded in the Church Book.
