Louis Adamson
Last rites were held here Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the Lutheran church for Louis Adamson, with the pastor, the Rev. C.S. Ericson, in charge. Following the service interment was made in the Hardin township cemetery. The following were casket bearers: J.E. Berglund, O.L. Swanson, Henry Peterson, James Erickson, Oscar Erickson, David Lundgren.
Louis Adamson was born on a farm near Mineral Ridge on June 15, 1880 and died in Hutchinson, Minn., Feb. 5, 1940, at the age of 59 years, 7 months, 15 days. He was married here to Mena [Minnie] Samuelson on Sept. 5, 1906, and a daughter, Vernice, was born to them. Mrs. Adamson died on Sept. 4, 1909 after which deceased continued to live in this locality for a few years and later located at Hutchinson.
Surviving is his daughter, Mrs. D.A. Shewbart, of Hammond, Ind., and the following brothers and sisters, half-brothers and half-sisters: Mrs. Wallie Ulrick, of Stratford; Mrs. John Mattson, of Marshalltown; Mrs. Carrie Mathew, of Boone; George Adamson, also of Boone; Almon Adamson, of Montana; Joe Adamson, of Boxholm; Charley Adamson of Pilot Mound.
Deceased was one of twenty-one children, all having the same father but with three different mothers.
