He was the first born child of Alfred and Alice Lacey Armstrong.
Pittston Gazette - Mon Apr 17, 1905 - Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Armstrong, of Plymouth, were startled when they awoke on Sunday morning to discover that their 11 week old child had died by their side during the night, The child had been in excellent health and the cause of death is not known.
