She was born in Mt. Victory, KY, daughter of the late William Oscar Whitaker and Lydia (Phelps) Whitaker. Survivors include her husband, William O. Goodin, whom she married Sept. 25, 1952 in IN, a son, Jeffrey Lee (and Kim) Goodin, a daughter, Cheryl Lynn (and Ricky) Clark, both of Somerset, KY, a brother, Henry Whitaker of IN, three sisters, Helen Thein of Burnside, KY, Myrtle Mofield of Eubank, KY, Betty Shephard of Somerset, KY, four grandchildren, Richard Shawn Clark, Amber Nicole Clark, Jeremy Kyle Goodin, Kristina Michelle Goodin and a great-grandchild, Justice Bailey Mullins.
