FALLBROOK - Aaron Paul Augspurger, 88, died Thursday, Jan. 4, 2001, at his home.
Born Oct. 18, 1912, in Tiskilwa, Ill., he lived in Fallbrook for 20 years. He was an accountant for Mobil Oil Corp. for 40 years and served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was a member of Fallbrook Presbyterian Church and past president of Petroleum Accounts Society. He enjoyed golfing.
Mr. Augspurger is survived by his wife of 53 years, Mary F. Augspurger of Fallbrook; son; two daughters; and sisters Zola Springer of Aurora, Neb. and Zelda Rowe of San Diego.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 13, at Fallbrook Presbyterian Church. A private cremation is planned, with interment to take place at Fallbrook Masonic Cemetery.
