DECATUR, Ill. - Alice Weaver, 83, of Decatur, passed away Thursday (May 3, 2012).
Born March 25, 1929, she was a daughter of William H. and Ruth Goodman Bigley. She was a long-time member of Northwest Christian Church and took her relationship with God very seriously.
Alice was an avid Cubs fan and loved country music. Alice had retired from Tolly's Market as a head cashier.
Surviving are two sons, Steve (Carol) Weaver and Mark (Becky) Weaver, and two daughters, Kathy (Jack) Scott and Barbara (Ed) Hemrich, all of Decatur; three brothers, Sam Bigley, Pete Bigley and Paul Bigley, and a sister, Shirley Cochran, all of Eldred, Pa.; seven grandchildren, Jill, Amy, Leigh, Matt, Mindy, Jason and Nicole; four stepgrandchildren, Susan, Joe, Mike and Jim; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Chuck, Bob and Mort; one sister, Pat Drabert; and one great-grandchild.
Burial will be in Lamphier Cemetery, Eldred, at the convenience of the family.
