Death Claims Widow At 80
Margaret Laughlin Rites Set Thursday
Mrs. Margaret N. Laughlin, 2049 Ohio Ave., died Monday at 5:30 p.m. in City Hospital, following a two week illness. She was 80. Mrs. Laughlin, the mother of Willard M. Laughlin, acting street superintendent, and W. B. Laughlin, former safety-service director, was born Nov. 5, 1876, in Hancock County and spent most her lifetime here. She was the widow of William G. Laughlin, who died Sept. 14, 1947. She was a member of the Oakland Free Methodist Church. She leaves another son, Frank A. Laughlin at home; two sisters, Mrs. Rosie Campbell of East Liverpool, and Mrs. Thomas Campbell of Chester, and seven grand-children and four great-grandchildren. Rites will be held Thursday, at 2 p.m. in the Martin Funeral Home by Rev. C. Howard Canon. Burial will be in Mill Creek Cemetery near Hookstown. Friends may call Wednesday afternoon and night at the funeral home.
