Frances Louise Qualls, 88, of Peoria, passed away at 9:25 a.m. Saturday January 28, 2017 at UnityPoint Health Proctor.
Frances was born October 27, 1928 in Illinois to Adam and Magdalena Viola Bamber Leonhardt.
She married Allen Campbell in Peoria Heights and he died in May, 1953 in Pomona, California. She later married Homer E. Qualls June 30, 1956 in Peoria Heights. He died November 14, 2005 in Peoria.
Also preceding her in death were four sisters, Hermina Leonhardt, Kathleen Heitman, Patricia Bell, Geraldene Callais and one brother, William Leonhardt.
A loving mother and grandmother, Frances is survived by her children, Thomas (Lynn) Campbell of Peoria, Jeanne (Jim) Kehlenbrink of St. Louis, Howard (Lila) Qualls of Peoria Heights; Six grandchildren, Geoffrey (Stephanie) Campbell, Bethany (Forrest) Henry, Olivia Campbell, John Russel, Heather Qualls, Alexandra Qualls; one great-grandson, Asa Campbell; one brother, Elmer Leonhardt of Herber Springs, Ark.
She was a member of Peoria Heights Congregational Church.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at The Wilton Mortuary with the Rev. Mark Douras officiating. Visitation will be one hour before services Wednesday at the mortuary. Burial will be in Swan Lake Memory Gardens.
