Patricia V. Bell, 75, of Oelwein, Iowa died on Friday evening, April 17, 2015 at the Buchanan County Health Care Center, Independence.
Graveside Memorial Service at a later date. There will not be a visitation. Inurnment: Lutheran Cemetery, Peoria, Illinois. Jamison-Schmitz Funeral Home, Oelwein, Iowa is assisting the family with arrangements.
Patricia Viola Leonhardt was born on February 6, 1940 in Peoria, Illinois the daughter of Adam & Magdalena Viola Faithful (Bamber) Leonhardt. She graduated from Woodruff High School in Peoria. Patricia was a meat wrapper for Kroger Grocery Stores in the Peoria area for over 30 years. Following her retirement, she moved with her daughter, Sheila’s family to Fayette, Missouri for 4 years and then to Oelwein, Iowa for the past 3 years. Patricia was a member of the Peoria Meat Cutter’s Union. She enjoyed spending time with her family and her dog, Mario.
Left to honor her memory are her 3 Daughters: Sheila (Malley) Harding of Oelwein, Tina Ice of Peoria Heights, Illinois and Denise (Ron) Campbell of Peoria Heights, Illinois; 9 Grandchildren; 4 Great Grandchildren; Sister: Frances Qualls of Peoria, Illinois and Brother: Elmer Leonhardt of Arkansas.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother: Bill and 3 sisters: Jerry, Kathleen and Hermina.
