Virginia, April 26.-Abraham Bailey, a pioneer resident of Cass County, died at the home of his daughter in Ashland, last evening at the age of 88 years. He had been a very successful farmer, residing more than fifty years on a large farm east of this city, removing to Ashland, upon the death of his aged wife a short time ago. His children are: George Bailey of this city, David and Charles Bailey, Mesdames Martha Coutts and Ada Shortridge of Ashland, Frank Bailey and Mrs. Benjamin Shortridge of Philadelphia and Mrs. Mary Bailey of New Virginia, Iowa.
