Melvin E. Rigsby, 73, of Hot Springs, went to be with the Lord on January 25, 2017. He was born November 20, 1943 in Lonsdale to William and Annie Jewel Rigsby.
Melvin was a devoted family man and wonderful provider for his family. He enjoyed spending time with his beloved grandchildren.
He is predeceased by his parents; loving wife of 44 years, Carolyn Rigsby; sisters, Mary Olson, Thelma Canton, Mary Lou Garner, Lucille Abbott, Lois Eudy and Faye Coleman; brothers, Herbert, Carl, R.A., Harold, Donnie, Eldon and Jerry Wayne Rigsby.
Survivors include his daughter, son, five grandchildren and sister-in-law.
Visitation will be 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Saturday, January 28, 2017 at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Sunday, January 29, 2017 at the funeral home.
