Mrs. Clara F. Walker of Polk died at 1:20 pm Monday at Franklin Hospital where she'd been since Dec. 7.
She is survived by her husband, Samuel L. Walker, and a daughter, Frances.

Mrs. Clara Rand Walker, 61, life-long resident of Polk, died at 12:30 om Monday in Franklin Hospital, where she'd been two weeks. She was the daughter of F. C. and Laura Duffield Rand, born in Polk Aug. 26, 1882.
She was a member of the Waterloo Presbyterian Church, and the Franklin Chapter of the Order of Eastern Star. She had taken an active part in community affairs in Polk for many years.
She married Samuel L. Walker May 2, 1900, and he survives, with a daughter, Frances Walk, at home; two brothers, Frank C. Rand of Jacksonville, TX, and P. D. Rand of Pittsburgh.
Services will be at 3 pm Wednesday at the Walker residence with Rev. J. K. McDivitt, pastor of Waterloo Presbyterian Church, officiating. Interment will be in Franklin Cemetery.
