FLORENCE - Lucius F. Hill Jr., 44, a native of manning was a son of Jessie Galloway and Lucius F. Hill. He was a member of the Florence Police Department. He was formerly associated with Manning Police Department and was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Navy.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Hazeline Blackmon Hill; two daughters, Miss Linda Kay Hill of Greenville General Hospital School of Nursing and Miss Cynthia Hill of Florence; a son, F. Leslie Hill of Columbia; his mother; three sisters and three brothers.
