DuPREE, Ruby Louise Graybill, 85, of Roanoke, passed away Saturday, May 3, 1997. She was the widow of J. Carl DuPree. She was born in Botetourt County and was the daughter of the late Price Jonas and Kate Bryant Graybill. She was a member of the Greene Memorial United Methodist Church, Oakland Garden Club and the Col. William Preston D.A.R. Chapter. She is survived by two stepsons, Jerry C. and wife, Marjorie D. DuPree, James A. DuPree, all of Buchanan; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Aubrey Lee and Olivine G. Graybill, Fincastle, Jonas A. and Betty Webb Graybill, Troutville, Leonard P. and Geneva Finch Graybill, Vinton; one sister, Gaynelle Graybill Crowder, Fincastle; three stepgrandchildren, John David DuPree, Jeffery Scott DuPree and Karen Dewease; one stepgreat-grandchild, Christopher Dewease; and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 6, 1997, at the Fairview Cemetery, Buchanan, with the Rev. Walter M. Lockett, Jr. officiating. The family will receive friends Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Rader Funeral Home, Daleville. Those wishing to make memorials, please consider the charity of your choice.
