Mrs. Alice Ella Sharpe 68 of Middleburg, died Thursday at home. Mrs. Sharpe was born in Reidsville, Ga. and had lived in Middleburg for 45 years. She was a member of the Middleburg Baptist Church. Survivors include five daughters, Mrs. D. P. Conway, Jacksonville; Mrs. J. L. Chesser, Lompoc, Calif., Mrs L. C. Canova, Jr, Middleburg; Mrs. Arthur Hatcher, Middleburg and Mrs. Clyde Saunders, Atlanta, Ga.; two sons, Edwin H. Sharpe, Middleburg; and Sgt. John R. Sharpe serving with the Air Force at Ft Bragg; two sisters, Mrs. E. C. Cowart, Reidsville, Ga., and Mrs. H. A. Masters, Middleburg; 19 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Funeral will be at 2 pm Sunday in the Middleburg Baptist Church with the Rev. H. E. Allen, pastor, officiating. Interment will be in the Middleburg Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Roy Gnann, George Barthlow, Charlie Hongood, James McDonald, George Bardin and Selvyn Frisbee. Key-McCabe Funeral Home is in charge.
