Obituary:
Mrs. Cora B. Briggs - Wife of Ira E. Briggs of 1623 Fifth avenue, died at the family home at 8:45 o'clock this morning of a complication of diseases. She was confined to her bed for the past ten weeks. She was born at Burnt Cabins, Dec. 25, 1878, and was a resident of this city for the past twenty-seven years. She was a member of the Eighth Avenue Methodist church and an active member of the Women's Aid society and Home Missionary society. She was married to Ira E. Briggs, who survives with the following children: Alton B. Briggs, Bertis D. Briggs, Mrs. Edna M. Shultz and three grandchildren. Also by the mother, Mrs. J.M. Shadle and the following brothers and sisters, Milton H., Eliphus H., Roy M., Orrin B., Ray S., Homer P., Mrs. May Keefer, and Mrs. Grace Killian, all of Franklin. The funeral will be held from the home with services Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock in charge of Rev. A.S. Williams, pastor of the Eighth Avenue Methodist church. Interment will be made in Rose Hill cemetery. (Huntingdon papers please copy.)
