James P. Varvitsotis, 59, of the Town of Chenango passed away peacefully Thursday December 15, 2016 at home surrounded by loving friends and caregivers.
He was predeceased by his parents Constantine "Gus" and Vivian Varvitsotis.
He is survived by a sister and brother-in-law, Connie and Bill Winters, Cicero; and a brother and sister-in-law Michael and Darlene Varvitsotis, Lebanon, CT; nieces and nephews Will and Elia Winters, Kate Winters and Cecily and Andrew Varvitsotis; Aunts and Uncles Mary and Chuck Rehefeldt, George and Diane Skelton; Sandra Moss.
He enjoyed many good years attending the Broome Developmental Day Treatment Program with their wonderful staff and clients.
Funeral Services will be held at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main Street, Binghamton, Saturday at 3 p.m. Burial will be in Riverhurst Cemetery, Endwell on Monday. The family will receive friends at the McCormack Funeral Home, Saturday from 1-3 p.m. Expressions of sympathy in James' name may be made to the Broome Developmental Day Treatment Program, 67 Riverside Dr. Binghamton, NY 13905.
