Andrew P. Moen was born in Norway, March 25 (sic), 1849 and died in Kalispell August 30, 1931 at the age of 82 years.

At the age of seven he migrated to this country with his parents and they made their home at Black Earth, Wisconsin, where he grew to manhood. He was married to Indiana Larson of Osso, Wisconsin and for a number of years they made their home at Mondovl, Wisconsin. In 1888, they moved to Volga, South Dakota where his wife passed away the following year. Later he located at Bagley, Minnesota and resided there until 1920 when he came to the Flathead where he made his home with his son until his death.

Mr. Moen had been a faithful member of the Lutheran Church all of his life. He leaves to mourn his loss, four daughters, Mrs. B. (Anna) Gilbertson and Mrs. W.E. (Nora) Day of Bagley, Minnesota, Mrs. H. (Ida) Huseby of Tacoma, Washington, Mrs. D.J. (Julia) Sutherland of Spokane, and one son Oscar Moen of Kalispell; also, two sisters, Mrs. O. Tang of St. Paul and Mrs. H. (Guri) Hanson of Pleasant Lake, North Dakota and one brother, Anton Moen of East Shore, Flathead Lake.
