Ramona F. Siegel, age 89 of Wisconsin Rapids, WI died Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at Our House Assisted Living in Wisconsin Rapids. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Friday at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Wisconsin Rapids. Father Patric will officiate, burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday at the Church from 9:00 - 11:00 AM.

Ramona was born September 12, 1927 in Stevens Point, WI to the late John and Helen (Szdlowski) Golla. She married Fred "Fritz" Siegel on July 14, 1951 at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Stevens Point. Mona and Fred celebrated their 65th Wedding anniversary this year. Mona enjoyed reading, doing crossword puzzles, was an excellent cook, was an avid sports fan and truly enjoyed following all of her grandchildren's activities. She also took great interest in keeping up with family events and special family occasions.

Mona is survived by her husband Fred of Wisconsin Rapids, children: Ron (Lana) Siegel of Wisconsin Rapids, Jane (Norm) Olsen of Wisconsin Rapids, Tim (Betsy) Siegel of Sheboygan, WI, 7 grandchildren: Shane (Andrea), Sarah (fiancé Dennis), Erin (Chad), Kurt, Scott, Andrew (Katherine) and Steven. She also has 4 great grandchildren: Aidan, Addison, Gwen and Dex. She is further survived by her sister Madeline (Paul) Landowski of Stevens Point, sister-in-laws Rosemary Golla of Stevens Point, Marchita (Dan) Polum of Stevens Point and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and 5 brothers: Chester, Edward, Jerome, Robert, Eugene, 3 sisters: Theresa, Christine, Mary and daughter-in-law Lana.

The family would like to thank the caring staff of Our House Assisted Living and Aspirus Riverview Hospital. Memorials may be designated to St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. Mom, thank you for instilling in us the value of family; you will forever be in our hearts.
