Leota grew up and attended school in the Pryor area. In 1938 she married Paul Pitts, who preceded her in death in 1984, and from their marriage came three sons.
Leota was a housekeeper and did ironing for others. She also worked on the family farm southwest of Pryor with her husband. Leota attended and was very active at Osage Free Will Baptist Church. Her passion in life was her church and she loved serving and helping there. She enjoyed spending time with her family and she loved them dearly. She was always a blessing to others and she will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her three sons and their wives; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Jesse, her husband, Paul and two grandchildren.
