Mrs. Minnie Beide, 91, a resident of the Pleasant View Nursing Home in Niles, Ill., formerly of Granite City, died at 2:30 a.m. Friday, July 18, at the nursing home. She had been ill for several years.
Mrs. Beide was born in Granite City and was of the Catholic faith.
Her husband Joseph Beide, died June 1, 1954.
Survivors include four children, Joseph Beide, Jr., Downers Grove, Ill., Mrs. James (Elsie) Sheehan, Glenview, Ill., Mrs. John (Marie) Roche, LaGrange, Ill., and Mrs. Elmer (Louise) Hutchings, Granite City; 12 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 9 a.m. today, July 21, from Pieper Funeral Home, 1929 Cleveland Blvd., to St. Joseph Catholic Church for 9:30 a.m. mass. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery, Edwardsville, Twp.
