Brenda L. Hampton, 68, of Bonnie, Illinois passed away at 7:30 A.M. Thursday, November 24, 2016 at Residental Living Center in Mount Vernon, Illinois. Brenda was a member of Elk Prairie Christian Church in Bonnie, Illinois and attended Central Christian Church in Mount Vernon, Illinois.
A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday, November 28, 2016 at Hughey Funeral Home in Mount Vernon, Illinois with Mr. Randy Sells officiating. Interment will follow at South Hickory Hill Cemetery in Mount Vernon, Illinois. A Visitation will be from 12:00 to Service Time 2:00 P.M. She was born Saturday, April 3, 1948 in Waltonville, Illinois to parents, Doris B. and Melva L. (Gilbert) Beckham. Brenda married Albert W. Hampton in Jefferson County, Illinois on October 17, 1969. They were married for 43 wonderful years before he preceded her in death on August 20, 2013. Her parents; husband; and brother, Glen Lloyd Beckham preceded her in death.
