Rebecca Ann "Reca" was the daughter of Alonzo Evaunder and Abbie Martha McNeil Stewart, sister to Cora Blanche Stewart Brock, Johnny and James Stewart. James died in Stafford County Kansas at the age of four days in the typhoid empedemic. He is buried beside the grave of his Uncle Charles McNeil. Shortly after, while his family was enroute to Missouri, his father and brother Johnny became ill. Both died in Bates County Missouri, but their burial place is unknown. Abbie remarried John Newton Groves.
