Born in Friendsville, Ohio on Aug. 27, 1919 to the late William and Gail (Hawk) Mueller, Lois Bell, 97, went home to be with her Lord on Nov. 16, 2016, at her Sunbury residence.

A home maker and a long time active member of the Sunbury Christian Church, Lois was a woman who lived her faith. She loved raising vegetables and flowers, baking great cookies and raisin bread. Another love was sewing for her family and making baby receiving blankets for newborns. She was an avid reader and an extremely good listener.

Lois will be missed by many who benefited from her steadfast support as exhibited by her encouraging notes, letters and her attentive listening. Lois was most proud of her family, raising five daughters who are all successful in life. Lois felt her greatest achievement in life was her family: daughters, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren.

She will be sorely missed by her five daughters; three son-in-laws; 13 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, 14 great great-grandchildren; sister Mary Dickerson of North Canton; sister-in-law: June Mueller of Wooster; numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by her husband: James Roger Bell on May 25, 1983; brothers: Nelson and William Mueller; sister: Edith Selzer.

A Celebration of Life at the Sunbury Christian Church, Sunbury, Ohio. Burial beside her husband in Trenton Cemetery.
