NELSON H MUELLER born 16 Apr 1912 died 02 Mar 1997, Wooster, Wayne County, Ohio

Married Elizabeth "Carol" Taylor in 1931. They had one child together, John Nelson Mueller, who would turn out to be Nelson's only biological child. Carol and Nelson divorced in 1933 or 1934 and in 1937 Nelson married Lyda Elouise "Louise" Massie recently divorced from Milton Blough, Sr. and with whom she had two sons. Louise died in 1982 after a long illness and Nelson, later that same year, married LaVonne Beatrice (Conkey) Gangle.

Nelson was a pilot during WWII in the Army Air Corps and earned a Silver Star. He continued flying in the years after the war for the engineering companies for which he worked. Nelson was not a school educated engineer, but had several inventions to his credit including having invented a machine that would help raise high-tension electrical lines to the far side of the towers.

Nelson was a painter, furniture maker, and in some ways a jack-of-all-trades. He enjoyed discovering how to make something old in a new way. At the age of 65 he learned to cook and was proud of his pie baking skills. In his retirement he became well known in art circles in Wayne County, Ohio as both a teacher and a watercolor artist.
