William Charles Mueller, 83, of Burbank, died Thursday evening, May 1, 2014, at Wooster Community Hospital after a period of declining health.

Bill was born July 18, 1930, at Friendsville in Medina County to the late William A. and Gail (Hawk) Mueller and married the former Annetta June Arrowsmith on March 16, 1952. She survives.

He served in the U.S. Air Force from Nov. 15, 1950-Oct. 23, 1954, having served overseas in England. He was a truck driver for 40 years, retiring from Don and John Grimm Trucking and from 1992-2004, was owner/operator of B&J Storage in Madisonburg.

He had made his home in the Westfield Center area most of his life, having resided near Burbank for 13 years and enjoyed gardening and trucks. Bill was always busy tinkering and piddling and was the happiest when working.

Surviving in addition to his wife June, are children, William B. (Rebecca) Mueller of Kissimmee, Fla., Becky J. (Wayne) Moore of Creston and Brad S. (Laura) Mueller of Westfield Center; grandchildren, Dr. Lindsey (Scott) Castle, William D. Mueller, Nick (Carrie) Moore, Chad (Jamie) Moore, Philip (Justine) Mueller and Jessica (Roman) Burk; step-grandchildren, Geoffrey and Brooke Reeder; great-grandchildren, Angel Burk and Noah Moore; and sisters, Lois Bell of Sunbury and Mary Dickerson of North Canton.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Nelson Mueller; and a sister, Edith Selzer.

Services will be Monday at 11 a.m. at Murray Funeral Home in Creston, with pastor Dan Bishop officiating. Burial will be in Westfield Cemetery.
