Jesse worked at the Homestake Mine in Lead, SD to help his family being he was the oldest son. Jesse's siblings included: sister Mary Terese b 1894, Martin Joseph b 1896 and Joseph b. 1897.
Jesse moved to Butte to work for the Anaconda Company. He lived in Meaderville. Jesse married Clara Caselli in Butte, MT in 1916. He registered for the WW1 draft in 1917.
Jesse and Clara had 2 children born in Silver Bow County, Montana: Rose born June 2, 1917 and Frances Marie born Oct 28, 1918. Jesse and family moved to the Oakland, California area in the late 1920s.
