There are errors on "Atley's" marker, the first of which was his name. In all records, including his obituary and his own draft card signature, his name was Atlee (Atlee Wilbur Alton). Secondly, he was shown as born January 1898 in the 1900 census, age two, and stated he was born 9 January 1899 on his WWI draft card. The incorrect date of birth on his headstone is the same as given in his obituary.
