23 Dec 2006: Delores A. (Amspacher) Eaton, 74, died Thursday, December 21, 2006, at York Hospital. She was the wife of the late Robert Free Eaton. Graveside service Tuesday, December 26, in Stewartstown Cemetery, Stewartstown, Rev. Melissa A. McDade officiating. Born Stewartstown, December 13, 1932, in, Delores was the daughter of the late David E. and Anna M. (Cochran) Amspacher. Mrs. Eaton was a secretary at Stewartstown Elementary School for more than 35 years. She was a member of Stewartstown United Methodist Church and was a very active 'behind the scenes' volunteer with Eureka Fire Company. Surviving are son Jeffrey D. Eaton of Stewartstown; siblings Betty L. Orwig of York, and Helen A. Lytle and her husband, Harry, Linda A. Wierman and her husband, Charlie, Robert E. Amspacher and his wife, Doris, and William D. Amspacher and his wife, Charlotte, all of Stewartstown; many nieces and nephews; and her beloved dog, Ivory. [York Daily Record]
